Located in the beautiful Tweed Valley, Northern NSW, Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat
offers luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in two air conditioned guest rooms
located in a private wing of the main house, which is built in the shape of square
dough-nut around a charming central atrium.
The private guest wing of the main house opens to a large verandah with tables, chairs
and a hammock outside each guest room for those more relaxing moments when you
wish to enjoy the beautiful views over rolling pastures to Mt Warning in the distance.
Both Guest bedrooms have queen size beds, TV/DVD/Video and ensuite
bathrooms with baths & separate showers ~ as it's name suggests the
Spa Suite has a luxury double spa bath.
 In
addition to the main house B&B, we offer one, fully self
contained honeymoon Cottage in its own secluded garden. So in total we
cater for a maximum of only 3 couples, ensuring peace, quiet and personal
service at all times.
Hillcrest is less than 30 minutes drive from the Tweed Coast and is centrally located to a range of
activities, beauty spots and World Heritage Listed National Parks in the
Tweed Valley, including the famous Mt Warning
~ the spot where the first dawn sun touches the East coast of Australia.

Main house guests enjoy a private entry, separate
guest lounge, complete with stereo system (including CD player), selection of books, games and
videos, as well as a stocked guest fridge and 24 hour tea/coffee making
facilities ~ a range of teas, coffee and a selection of herbal beverages
are provided with our compliments.
Murwillumbah has two video libraries, both of which are happy to give temporary membership to
our guests if you can't find a movie to suit you in our own library ~
which includes a selection of classic Black and White movies.
The Main House Separate Guest Lounge opens on to a charming central atrium with a decorative fishpond and resident Australian Green Tree Frogs During Warmer Months.

B&B Country Style Breakfasts
include choice of juice and cereal, fresh/home
bottled or poached fruit platter, yoghurt, our own free range eggs cooked to your
liking, home-made bread (gluten free on request) toasted and served with a selection of home-made preserves.
The breakfast menu is varied daily for longer stays with such items as scrambled egg
with smoked salmon, waffles with warm spiced plums, mushrooms on toast,
wild herb omelette ~ or tell us your favourites and we'll do our best to
oblige.
At night we light up the gazebo, pool and gardens, making this a perfect spot to enjoy one of Clive's special summer barbecues. Self-catering enthusiasts will prefer the Hillcrest
Cottage with it's fully equipped kitchen and gas bbq on the private verandah.
Main house guests may order a bbq pack to cook in the fairy-lit gazebo by
our solar-heated pool ~ perhaps enjoy a warm dip before your meal. What better way to spend a glorious summer's evening?
