Chillingham ~ "A Natural Village"

Follow the historic walk beside the River along Beantree Walk from the Bush Tucker Gardens, pop into Chillingham Store for a burger and a beer before strolling across Rous River bridge past the Flute Workshop.

Just next door to Chillingham Store you'll find the best place in the Tweed to shop for exotic tropical fruits and bush tucker specialities at Banana Cabana Fruit Barn and Bush Tucker Gardens.

Take a guided tour around the bush tucker orchard, or just relax with a coffee, ice-cream or the speciality of the house ~ chocolate-coated bananas!

If hand crafted wooden bowls, vases, clocks and more are to your taste then a visit to Erroll Smith's workshop a few minutes stroll from Chillingham Store is a must see.

Breathe in the aroma of fresh turned local timbers as Erroll lovingly explains how he forms his artworks ~ then be astounded at the bargain prices when he shows you the finished product!

Just around the corner from the Store and Banana Cabana is the delightful Old Butchery Pottery Shop.

John, the owner and resident artist, welcomes browsers to peruse his very reasonably priced wares.
