Hillcrest Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen including a full size gas stove, fridge, microwave oven, pots, pans and all crockery and cutlery ~ you'll even find a couple of cookery books if you want to try something different whilst you're on holidays, as well as a gas BBQ on the verandah. 

If you don't wish to shop for yourself then we can provide BBQ packs with advance notice.

Another option is to try one of the many pubs, cafés and restaurants in Murwillumbah. The centre of Murwillumbah is only 13 kilometres away and has a range of dining options  to suit all tastes and pockets.

You'll find our suggestions with some sample menus in the Cottage. We feel it our "duty" to try out all new eateries in town so that we can make the best recommendations to our guests ~ yes it's a terrible job but someone's gotta do it.

Remember that at Hillcrest Cottage you have a full size gas BBQ on your own private verandah.

In addition to dining table and chairs in the Cottage, another table and chairs is provided outside so you can enjoy an al fresco dining experience in complete privacy with all the comforts of home.

Murwillumbah has a huge Coles Supermarket that's open until 10pm weekdays, 8pm weekends and offers an extensive range of Australian, Asian, vegetarian and health food ingredients reflecting the diverse population of the Tweed in general and Murwillumbah in particular.
